He floated like a butterfly
His punches stung like a bee
He started out as Cassius Clay
But was better known as Muhammad Ali
His feet were like that of a dancers
The way he moved about the ring
No one would disagree
That in the ring he was the king
He called himself the greatest
Because he truly was
When ever he entered the ring
The crowd was all abuzz
No matter when or where he'd fight
He'd always put on a show
He surely was the people's champ
No matter where he'd go
