The Guillotine Man Poem by doug bentley

The Guillotine Man

as the purity of a cancer mole,
without discrimination or favor,
he extracts all traces of life
from anything he encounters.

The Guillotine Man.

a death mask that sees you.
a descending wall of steel
crushing everything in its way.

and you?

frozen, beheaded by
a face of sepulchre stone
and infernal eyes furnaces?
