In Hyderabad's bustling maze,
Where tech and tradition blend,
Sat Malini in office daze,
Wondering where her paths would end.
A Training Manager in firm renown,
Her accolades did proudly show.
Yet, hidden dreams weighed her down,
Of untapped fields she yearned to know.
Enter Shraddha, friend so dear,
A journalist of words so fine.
They met one eve, the atmosphere
Lit by biryani and glasses of wine.
'Malini, you've climbed a gilded stair,
A career that many only seek, '
But Malini sighed, letting down her hair,
'There's another voice, and it's not weak.'
'Sociology's pull is hard to ignore,
It whispers wisdom, old and new.
It fills a gap, like folklore
Of ancient tales one finds so true.'
Shraddha paused, then gently spoke,
'Why must you choose a single path?
Life's a song in varied stroke,
Not a narrow, singular aftermath.'
Inspired, Malini took a stance,
Decided she could have it all.
Both her job and her romance
With social theories, she'd no longer stall.
So she balanced sheets and human truths,
In conference rooms and libraries sat.
No longer torn, as in her youth,
For she wore multiple hats.
Thus, Malini found her life's own rhyme,
Harmonizing passion and career in time.
Questions:
Can one be content wearing a single hat, or is life richer with more?
What paths are you walking, and have you ever wished for another to explore?
Does happiness come from choosing, or from embracing more and more?
