often i imagine
separation
it starts with
a perfume that offends you
and you decide
to sleep in another room
which does not bother me
since i never drive you
away
you choose
a lifestyle
i stick to mine
the next day
another reason comes about
it will be another
house
for another night
perhaps i imagine
too often
that it will soon be
another country
or perhaps
another kind of
galaxy
it does not bother
me
i candidly admit
there was
never
any intimacy
it is the body that
you trust
perhaps you should
have asked the
heart
and it is ready
with its
long prepared
and ready
made
answer
