The Hearts Wage Poem by Joseph Sakyiamah

The Hearts Wage

Searching for freedom in darkness,
Free, yet bound by longing,
A hired heart, seeking it's wages,
Refined as snow's touch,
Renewed with each dawn's light,
I yield, a leaf on the wind,
As a rising of the morning sky,
Awakening with your presence,
Known and forever yours.
