The Heat Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

The Heat

Storks are tracing shades
To cover the body from heat
The tree branches are lost
The leaves are rotten like roasted ones
The landscape of greenery is lost
The fire engines are kept ready
Fearing a little trouble makes tragedy
The crows makes their own plea
They cries aloud seeming to get help
No one tries to hear the plight
Everyone suffer the heat of sun
The black clouds are somewhere gone
Not a presence of rain is nearby
So hot and so suffering with sweat
The punishment is bigger than expected.
