The Heavens Cry Poem by Jon ProskeyVigil

The Heavens Cry

The heavens let loose this downpour;
the glory of this world is no more.
The angels cry for this lost beauty;
we've destroyed this world you must agree.
What was meant for this world is now tainted;
the colors have faded from what he painted.
This world becomes dark and full of danger;
you walk down the street frightened of every stranger.
Light no longer shines through the clouds;
and darkness everywhere crowds.
These angels tears do their best to clense this place;
falling from up above high in space.
Falling gently to the ground;
cleaning and healing all around.
Soothing kisses from them to us;
trying their best but without success.
