The Hidden Tears Poem by Mereia Namatua

The Hidden Tears

i suffer silently
i am bleeding slowly
the tears i shed
is filling a bottomless well
why are you doing this?
humans of earth
my green leaves are forever shedding
the lustrous forests are forever thinning
the quantum oceans are forever rising
one day as they say
one day Mafatu
you will see the fun
i am mother nature
and nature will always laugh later
