The Holidays Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Holidays

Rating: 3.8

Don’t you just love the holidays?
Precious family members to see
No matter where they are gathering
That’s where you want to be

Thanksgiving is time to be grateful
To look around with careful thought
To share the day with loved ones
Where happiness is sought

A time to smile and remember
Times from long ago
From the time when we were children
When to Grandma’s we might go

And just around the corner
Saint Nick’s waiting patiently
Gathering up great packages
For everyone to see

So enjoy the ones you love
Enjoy the food that you will share
And for those so far away
Please say for them a prayer!
