The Holy Storm Poem by Claude Simpson

The Holy Storm

Brother Isaac stormed through the Caribbean, then lashed South Florida
With high winds and torrential showers of rain.
Tennor Saw sounded the alarm
But the dead didn't move.

Isaac took six
Lives in Haiti with many
Residents whipped and battered in Cuba.

Someone erred and said that Isaac is a Jewish storm
But if so, why was Isaac not invited to the GOP conventions? ...Not American?
As California braced for more quakes; Governors of Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama called for a state of
Emergency.

Isaac was expected to hit the
Gulf Coast on d'day, the anniversary of Katrina.
Bull's-eye! but thanks Father God! for allowing Isaac to spare us;
As he was saved by the angel of the Lord from the hand of Abraham. Amen! Amen!
