The Honest Mirror Poem by douglas lewis

The Honest Mirror

You say you don't feel old.
Squint into my eyes.
I do not hang in
Want of honesty.
Look at your face!
Those creases are not born
Of faulty pallid glass.
Your past due date,
Has wrinkled my frame.
