The Horrible Haiti Earthquake - Poem by Jasper Rose

The Earthquake the earthquake the horrible earthquake
Why did it strike the poorest of places?
Killing millions and leaving thousands homeless
The earthquake the earthquake the horrible earthquake

Why of all places did the earthquake strike Haiti
A poor and desolate land with no means of help
They cannot cope with it they have lost their homes
The earthquake the earthquake the horrible earthquake

Some say Haiti may rebuild into a great place
Others say it will never survive
But either way what little they had they will never get back
The earthquake the earthquake the horrible earthquake.

Some aid is getting through
But not enough that’s needed
Some still lay without any food or aid
The earthquake the earthquake the horrible earthquake

Some are still trapped underneath rubble
Away from help of any kind
Will they survive, nobody knows
The earthquake the earth quake the horrible earthquake
