The Human Destiny Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

The Human Destiny

May my last notes dissolve into silence
And yet be eloquent, is my wish vainglorious
I do not wish to retire alone into paradise
May the entire kindred ones join me in togetherness
Don't mistake me, this wish does not spring from altruism
Rather from a wish to fulfill my happiness
I would love to believe the sovereign Lord,
would bless the entire universe
And after cleansing, cancel out hell, and declare release
The creator would set himself free from all bonds
And the hitherto raging battle would cease and
there would be enduring bliss
