The Humanity Of The 'Man' Poem by Lady Pattianna Urasz

The Humanity Of The 'Man'

His humanity displayed upon a tree for all to see.

His body marked with signs of torture He received.

It is said the 'Man' endured it all without a plea.

He bore it all so men could have their lives retrieved.

Upon His head was placed a ring of painful thorns.

In jest the soldiers slapped and spit into His face.

The skin left on His back was ripped and torn.

The only thing the 'Man' had done was a world embrace.

He was left to hang upon the tree for half a day.

Friends and family stood sadly by and viewed the scene.

Mid-afternoon the sky had turned quite dark and gray.

This human 'Man' had bled to death to wash us clean.

He gave His life so we could live and see good days.

All we need to do is change our ways.

Love each other, stop the hate and wicked deeds.

This lack of love, such madness and pure badness breeds.

Disciples of the 'Man' were wounded to the core,

Fearful of the priests and of their brothers.

Waiting in a room, not knowing what's in store

Were families of young and old, and mothers.

Rejoicing did occur as all assembled were inspired

By gifts of Holy Spirit's fiery Dove,

Endowing varied gifts, then amazing things transpired,

Giving gifts of tongues, teaching prophecies of love.

Congregations daily grew, starting from a lowly few

enduring through the centuries, prayerfully on bended knees.

Just like the 'Man', great crowds they drew,

Away from them the wicked flew.

Seeking out their God to please

One was given Kingdom keys.

Press on, Press on, Oh words of Truth

Declare the Kingdom in the air.

Throne of David, house of Ruth,

We have the Good News to declare.

How beautiful the busy feet of men and women on the street.

They're on the walk, they're at the door,

Telling neighbors what's in store.

Our God Jehovah, He has said,

Those disobeying will be dead,

While those who listen, man and wife, , will get everlasting life.

Press on, Press on, for all must hear,

The Kingdom's King is standing near.

Praise Jah you People of the nations,

Soon we'll see God's recreations.

Halelujah! and Maranatha!
