The Hydra Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

The Hydra

Rating: 5.0

Still holding onto yesterday,
tomorrow calls my name

The comfort of what time has blessed,
my life within its frame

Those two directions—front and back,
a hydra running loose

Do I embrace what's in the past
—or what is yet to choose
