The Illusionist (Poet) Poem by Jacson Gelato

The Illusionist (Poet)

Before those eyes he dangles his words
love comes out of kissing lips
anger comes out of hurting moments
pain screams when injury speaks
sorrow rises when death appears;
laughter, applause, all in one matchbox fits
but sparks, when illusionist ignites
mystery, delight, passion though momentary
but poetry creates intrigue, interest, impression, forever
on those minds that read and try to understand
those illustrations which by subtleness glitter
in every verse, every line, every word
as that illusionist- the poet uses
only a pen and a paper to present
his magic trick by words called poetry.
