How were you created,
O weapon of mass destruction?
How did you become man's most dangerous tool?
You are fashioned for pleasure,
Yet capable of unbearable pain.
You are an indiscriminate explorer,
Bold, fearless and mischievous.
You trespass beneath the sacred triangle of virgins,
And make a way where there was none.
You invade the passages of married women
Bringing discord in blissful homes.
What unseen force propels you into action
The moment you detect prey within your territory?
You have just one eye
But you can see through the thickest darkness,
And spring into action at the sight of your prey.
After pouncing on your victim,
You leave metamorphic deposits
That could stay in your victim for nine months.
