The Infinite Blue Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

The Infinite Blue

While I walk along along the valley deserted
I am the solitary soul drifting wayward
I dare n't look up, instead I wallow, eyes downcast
I wonder where is the Sun sunny and resplendent
Waves upon waves surge up violent, turbulent
Suddenly a voice whisper-like, murmurs:
‘Look up, O Man! Look at the Infinite Blue
It's the dazzle of colours slid into one'
Then I looked up, the waves subsided, yes, ‘santhi, santhi'
I felt sailing upon the Infinite Blue, serene and jubilant
The valley getting elevated to an abode, where kindred souls dwelt
