The Influenzas Poem by Alfred Barna

The Influenzas

I can tell you who to hate
And I can tell you what to feel
Only I can tell you what is great
And when it's okay for you to steal
Follow me and follow me down
Because your mind is not yours to share
And even if you went to town
There would be no one who would care
Because they listen to only me
Because I am the influencer on the scene
You are too blind, you can't see
And I will even tell you where I have been
While you waste away in your prison cell
I can glitz around the world (so now drool)
LOL I hope that your confinement is doing well
Meanwhile look at me, cus I am so cool
My opinion, instantly valued; and profits come
Buy my products, or you will no longer matter
You with me; you are smart, if not, dumb
Though don't you dare climb upon my ladder
