The Insecure Fowl Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

The Insecure Fowl

Amongst the interlaced doors,
Any instant to be winged outdoors,
The insecure fowl knows it too
That it wasn't raised with fondness,
What a cool conspicuous fool!
Can't blame it for lacking the sense,
For it had a strange thought once
That it too belonged with them.
