The Intellectual - Poem by Doc Damon Ray Hollingsworth

As I was young and easy
Time let me climb the words that
make pictures in your mind.
From behind a glass ceiling
poetry is your personal feelings
Idea is the product of imagination
of all the could be's
a former relationship
you're not really free.
Poems come from imagination and thought
the intellectual from in your mind believes
poetry intelligence gives and seeds
mind over matter
never mind
something chatters.
