you do not know
that love can also
exist in fear
and in hiding like the
hunchback of
notre dame

you all thought
the same thoughts about
love that thrives in the
open

like some kind of
sunflowers on a field
extending to
a far horizon

i am telling now
it did.
time is sailing like
a boat
in that ocean
trying to prove that
there exists another
island at some point
where no one
had ever been.

i am telling you i was
there
and i want to be back
there again.
