The Journey Poem by Nelson Mugisha Mulera

The Journey

God loves you,
They say to you.
Come meet him,
You’re convinced,
You start your Journey,
Not knowing how funny.

Is it a hard journey? You ask.
Read your bible,
You’ll understand.
It’s a faith journey,
You perceive,
What a strange walk,
It must be.

What Joy I have found,
In this journey with a crown.
What peace in my heart
That often takes me by surprise,
In the midst of my demise.
In him I confide
In him am satisfied.

Receiving my crown, i do
As I hear him tell
'Sit at my right hand good and faithful servant'.

With him I will rule.
In him I live.
In the host of angels for 1000 years, I will dwell.
Lovely is this Journey, I know it's truth!
