The Journey Poem by Barbara Parris

The Journey

Rating: 5.0

My life is
remembered now
like a leaf, a fern
Unfurling.

Growth, for all
It's pain,
is glorious
wonderful
lasting.

How sweet
it is
to feel
today,
this year
somehow
solid.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Maybe my poems could give just one someone a vision of how our lives can get much better, less painful - the incentive never to give up- to hang in there. I'm eternally grateful to all who have been a part of my growth. For some of my poems about being in bad places, fragile, please see Long, Long Ago coming up. God bless & keep.
