The Joy Of Bumblebees Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Joy Of Bumblebees

Oh how I love the Bumblebees
As they buzz on the lovely flowers
Dipping right down into the pollen
Between fresh summer showers

How delightful it is to watch
A honeybee plunge and drink
It gives me so much enjoyment
In my garden as I rest and think

When I hear that buzzing sound
I know a furry creature is near
It’s a sound that’s so familiar
And so magnificent to the ear

The chirping of birds along with
The murmur of the little bees
Makes me smile as I listen to
Their drone with the swish of trees

I hope you too enjoy them
Special insect creatures
Look closely and you will see
Their sweet tiny little features!
