The Joy Of Restoration Poem by Ed Homer

The Joy Of Restoration

Fires burning, Embers glowing
Shining into the night
Screeching voices permeate
As exfoliation of my derma unwinds

The burning of the cellular
Etching new life into me
What one was once aged and damaged
Is renewed for me to see

Hope is now springs eternal
As I seek my future to unfold
Might other treatments to me
Keep me from growing old

Implanted follicles gleaming
As my hair is now complete
Next is the rebuilding
Of all of my teeth

Plastic caps now installed
So joints feel no pain
Applied lotions and creams
Make sure moisture remains

Tightened skin ever stretching
Revisits are required
Until my lower genitalia
Are just under my eyes

I look marvelous to the mirror
And to the open crowds
But its hard to use the toilet
I can no longer sit down

Wiping my nose after
So as to clear things away
My neck in the back
Requires preparation H twice a day

I fail airport scanners
From the hardware that's found
Every connection in my body
Is now screwed down

But its all worth it
So that I can look young again
I only need handfuls of pain killers
So as to get me through my days

If you should decide
To do as I choose to do
Think again dear friends
For you are a fool
