The Kerala Backwaters Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

The Kerala Backwaters

Rating: 5.0

I was not dreaming
For we were boating,
Slowly, and leisurely drifting
Into a world so mesmerising!

The backwaters were charming
The wind on our back soothing,
We could see fish in the water wiggling
While tall coconut palms stood waving.

We tried our hand in angling
But this task was quite baffling,
We spent our time bonding
With the beautiful nature all embracing!
