A Nice Wise Guy (A Poem On Peace)
The dove of peace
That graced the azure sky
Was shot down
By a nice young guy
Who said he had
Religion in his pockets
And whipped out
A magazine of bullets.
Now tell me friends
Do we need such nice wise guys
To lead us away
From the world's worldly vice?
