The Killer Poem by Lone Dog

The Killer

This morning,
In the awakening twilight,
As I was scraping the November frost
From my car window
In preparation for
The long drive to work,
I heard two 'pops'
In the distance,
And wondered what lifeless mass
Lay floating dead and still
On some cold and misty marsh.
