The King's Soul Poem by E.K. HARIHARAN

The King's Soul

THERE she was,
Wrapped in the warm swaddle of his chest and arms!
The hyacinth-blue eyes of his princess never failed to serene him in the midst of his darkness!
He buried her miniature fingers in his palm and promised to never let go....

NOW she stands,
In her mesmerizing bridal gown,
Grasping the bouquet of red roses!
Embellished with shimmering stars,
Stands the most ravishing angel the eyes could ever meet!

Both king and princess met eye-to-eye,
The air was filled with emotional hurricane that rattled the heart and spark the lips,
The tears never failed to blur their vision!

The gurgling smile of his princess lingered in his very mind...
"Its time, my sweetheart", whispered his lips! ! !
