The Kite Poem by poet virginus ndubuisi

The Kite

Rating: 5.0

THE KITE
Oh! Yee kite,
I thought that,
Up there is thy abodes
Why then did thou through,
Windows of a tree and through
The ozone layer descend on the
Zink with hands like a
One day born chicken? Or at
Thy abode scattered?
Oh!
What a wonderful creature?
What about thy food and
Thy drinks?
I idolize thee,
Not for thy wings and thy legs,
But for thy locomotion like daffodils
On a lagoon.
Nothing interest me most,
Than the way thou bends thy
Wings while flying.
They never ending winds always make
Me sleepiness.
Extends my greetings to the
White horse up there, tell him
That my hands are like cassava leafs,
And I will always remain like,
That.
