I wanna go back to the time,
When it all felt real..

I wanna go back to the moment,
When it was all love and no despair..

When your kiss on my cheek,
Recovered me from the bleak.

When the warmth of your arms,
Rejoiced me into calm.

When looking in your eye,
Answered my every why..

When the life seemed possible,
Despite all the disappointment,
it seemed plausible..

I wanna go back to the time,
When it was just you and me…
When the world didn’t matter..
When all you could think of was me..
When it was us, just meant to be..

I wanna go back in that moment,
When the last time I felt like me..
