The Least Of All Poem by Tracey K. Warmack

The Least Of All

The Least of all I have to offer you is time.
Time to clear your schedule,
Time to handle your business,
Time to sit back and see how I truly appreciate what you have given me,
As much love as I have given away,
There is just that much more to give,
God has healed many a wound I have from the past received,
I know I am healed of those pains because of my lack of bitterness,
It doesn't hurt me to know I may not get everything I want,
My joy is found in being blessed with all I need,
It doesn't knock me over realize a particular man may not choose me,
I find pride in my strength for it is what divides the good from the bad,
So my time and effort is better spent and not wasted,
It doesn't hurt my eyes to see the light of truth,
I bask in the glow of the love I exude and long to share with that one,
It doesn't hurt me to hope for a chance to be so sweet and tender to you,
For it whimsically romances my heart
To allow my thoughts to wonder of what could be,
If by chance you could ever see yourself with me.
