The Letdown
Mend this fragile mind,
How could you ever be so unkind?
Seasons pass,
Why did I think this could last?
We were on such a high.
How time seems to fly.
Let my eyes poison your touch,
No? I should have thought such.
I scream for you into the night,
For you broke this heart with such might.
