The Library Poem by Gabriella GabbyRo

The Library

So I sit in the library all by myself,
At a computer alone talking to no one at all.,
To my right there’s probably 100 books per shelf,
I sit in my chair, the people around seem so very tall.

I sit typing schoolwork and poems at a fast pace,
Around me stand people watching their friends play a game,
I sit, they stand, it’s akward with their butts near my face!
High Schoolers and zombie games? How lame!

I thought the library was for reading and books,
Instead people talk and lounge with their friends,
Talking or kissing in the library nooks,
If I fail for lack of study, they’ll be quite as to make their amends!
