The Lie Poem by Martin Holm Sjölin

The Lie

Rating: 3.0

I don't believe in fame, I want to believe in music.
I don't believe in money, I want to believe in the power of love.
But how is that possible in this age?

I want to believe that everybody do things because they care.
But if people care. Then why do we have war? poverty? sickness?
I guess we don't care about each other. All we care for is money and fame.

I don't believe in fame, I want to believe in music.
I don't believe in money, I want to believe in the power of love.

And so i lie.....
And i tell myself that I'm not part of the lie. But that is also a lie.
