The Lies Of Flowers Poem by Brittney Karasek

The Lies Of Flowers

cope with the loss of god,
and the awakening of my soul.
scorched my fire burning mind,
cold desert heart shatters.
alone with no hands holding,
my faith diminished, my vanity swollen.
lessons in life leave you.
leaving the need, feeding the need.
an addiction; happiness in weeds.
emptiness with cooked seeds.
nothing grows.
time slows, revealing
people unknown,
who are unknown?
we are the unshown,
the slowed, and the invisible.
life expanding.
veins exploding.
drained empty and sore,
we ARE
no more.
