The Life Of Poem by debbie gregory

The Life Of

What a life
to lie on the beach every day
just soaking up the sun
life is so perfect
but not much fun

I dont have to work
or shop for food
i dont have a hubby
or a sceaming brood

I dont listen to music
and i havent read a book
i dont do the washing
and i dont have to cook

I never have to pay for any atire
i just lie in the sun and perspire

Powders and perfume i never need
scents and shampoo will just never do

cars and insurance dont interest me
me in a bikini you will never see

so give a thought if you think lifes hell

for me on the beach
and the life of a sea shell
