The Lift Poem by Prince Ifeoluwa Daniel ShanuOlu

The Lift

He was at the top and he dried comfort with ingratitude
Mountain paid him with a choice called quit
And he saw himself at the dung-hill
Dark elements within saw
despair and tied God's forsaken to his hope

But he had travelled beyond Reason for gentle smile he sees
And we all behold it glitter,
And we all know it is his-
Instead of taking a bow
it produces insinuations....by PIDS
