The Light Poem by HAZEL SUAREZ

In me theres a light, theres the light in my eyes.
theres a light when i walk it glows, i glow, i shine next to the dimmers.
the people that are useless, evil, yet want to touch mine and destory.
but it cant happen cause the light i have belongs to my heart, to my mind and my soul.i shine with it i smile and it makes me happy knowing i got it.

in me theres also a light when i see my family.when have them togther all around its one big glowing family the sun is jealous. the people that envy wear shades cause like vampires they hate it and fear it. they would melt and dissappear they hate being around all this brightness.they envy what they cant have, cant touch, cant keep, and cant stay around.

in me theres this light i have that never leaves only dims but comes back even brighter again. i love smiling and laughing when its around it gives me joy and confindence. it makes me feel free from darkness and saddness it opens me up to feel the world, the suns wramth, and the cool breeze.

my light makes me dance around, sing out loud, wear brighter things, try differents things and makes me feel hope when times get hard or were hard.

this light is not only in me, but in you too. next time you feel down search within your heart for the dim light and make it bright again. smile like when you did before let it shine though you and feel what i feel. your heart is always and will always be your light. let go of your mind and stop listening to it. your heart is connected to your soul and if they both are happy and listen too then life should be a little easier and enjoyable for you.
