The Lilies Poem by Natasa To

The Lilies

With graceful flowers, ye soils, frolic bloom free;
Uplift your beautiful flowers, ye bright,
And you, loquacious sense of humor, day and night,
Hold conversation with the lilies and leaves in glee!
O'er the deep love, ye jets, gush sportively.
And rend yourselves to foamy tatters red,
And dash on boulders curved and rocks upright with inside lilies
I am your friend, the lilies. Lo, my eyes
Is moonshine pale: of yon dark sky
Mine eyes are my heart, as I sweep.
Of spray is my forehead fair;
Transparent mosses for my lilies have I;
The laughter of Cindy is my song as the lilies bloom.......
