The Little Chemic-Master Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

The Little Chemic-Master

Would not have trod;
A cheerless pathway
Had there been no alluring tastes
No blooming flowerets
And no lily, rose, jasmine luxuriates
Would have gone astray
If there were no stars
To smile upon his way
It is nectars all the way
Honeyed sweets, fragrant flowers
Smooth his way, the gem of day
Him a busy creature God has made
Never seen idling time away
Gathers honey and earns his bread
Loves sunny and shady places
The weeds, flowers, clovers
And fields, Nature’s wealth, his assets
Enjoys and withstands honey
Till the sweet’s onslaught
Seen kissing many a beauty
After making their bowers empty
Felt with a sting
Heard with a song
Mesmerised with a wing
He is our little soul our little bee
Nectars and nectars all the way he brings………….
