The Lonely City Poem by Warri Stanley

The Lonely City

The Lonely City

It was as sweet as xmass dream,
When you came and left the city.
You and I plan nothing about it,
How you came and gone,
Was like the breeze I couldnt hold.

Remember you brought me into the city,
Like a mother, now you're gone,
Gone for a reason that worth it.
Your smell is no longer in the city,
Now I'm just all alone in this city.

I only console myself with the past,
Images that keep coming and going,
Comes somtimes like you're still here,
But you've gone far, far off the city.
When are you coming to the city?

Come, come, it's very lonely over here.
Everywhere is just like a fallen city,
All I could flash is our long time spent,
Time is acting like something finished,
Because anoth'r face of time has moved on.

When our close love has became distance.
And our feelings are melting down,
Melting down to only the days of dreams.
And our dreams are there to guide us,
Dont let your distance kill your feeling,
Dont just welcome preaching of steet boys.
So that our love will not breeze away.
