The Lonely People Poem by Christinne Radu

The Lonely People

Rating: 4.8

The lonely people pass by me
Staring, falsely extatic looks
And smiles that have lost their way to the lips
Souls with filters of bitterness
Diamonds hidden in their depth's cracks
The asphalt is full of their steps' tracks
The ether - of their sighs
Whose echo melts in the walls of the buildings
Their silence condemns us.
