The Looking Glass Poem by Harlequin Rose

The Looking Glass

For two days...
it was alcohol and orgasms
because time meant nothing else
dirty martinis stole her inhibitions
like memory un-remembering itself
he claimed her seedless womb
and courtrooms claimed the begotten
give up the flesh enough times
and what is lost is soon forgotten.
