The Lord Is Good, A Strong Hold In The Day Of Trouble." Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

The Lord Is Good, A Strong Hold In The Day Of Trouble."

"The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in him."Nahum 1: 17 ***

"The Lord is good and his mercy endures forever." For many long hard years, I have frequently prayed to the Lord, "Lord either heal my sister, Lynn Ellen Dubarry of her physical and mental illness, or take her home to be with you."

When Lynn was still sixty seven years old, she conducted an aggressive form of Leukemia (a cancer that attacks her blood cells.)I had to make the decision, if she was terminal why should she have chemotherapy? If it would only prolong her suffering. Besides she is going to die any way.And Swedish Memorial Hospital agreed with me.
They used a temporary treatment, but stopped it because she would have kidney failure.

They notified me, Lynn was on Providence Hospice. She was to be kept comfortable on Morphine. Than her breathing became labored, and she required oxygen. Shortly there after, Lynn quit breathing and eating. Her heart stopped, and the Edmonds based hospital. Felt they were doing their job to work on her heart. And I told Rose of Hospice, the hospital is not the boss, I am. And they replied I was right, I was the boss.

My Pastor Diana told me the hospital was only doing their job. And I informed her, they knew Lynn was going to die anyway. If it would save her life, I would agree to it.

On the early morning of August 17,2020, a few days before she turned sixty eight years old. The Lord Jesus Christ her Lord and her Savior took her home to be with him. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." "The Lord is a strong hold in the day of trouble."

For most of her life, Lynn loved Jesus Christ! And she would want to tell everyone about him. "He knows those who trust him." There were many long years she compared herself to Job with excellent reasoning!
She thought God hated her, and Job cursed the day he was born. But they who endure until the end shall be saved. Both Job and Lynn endured to the end and they both were saved!

Love in Christ Jesus!
