The Lost Love
the lost love
left behind
all the thoughts
lingering in her mind.
the sleepless nights
dreams far away,
she remembers the times
when it didn't hurt this way.
Alone in the bed
she looks over his side
thinking when he was
apart of her life.
her heart's aching
her soul fading away
a piece of her left
that day he had to go away.
