The Lost Room Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

The Lost Room

How many rooms are
locked away,
—deep inside yourself

Are those doors closed and shut
from the outside,
—or from within

Are the feelings there orphaned
and unnamed,
—waiting for rebirth

Is your loneliness self imposed
and empty in the still darkness,
—waiting for the light

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A great poem on self imposed loneliness. People say about loneliness after shutting away from others locking inside their feelings or denying access by others. Its true that loneliness is self created. Congratulations dear poet
