You say you love me
You say you want to be with me
You say these feelings are only for me
You say you can see us getting old together
And you say you’ll love me forever
I tell you, you don’t know what you mean
You say you do
I tell you I’m always there for you
I know you’ll move on quick and say things you don’t mean
I know because I talk to you I know what you really mean
You think you love me but you don’t
You’ll move on quicker then you’ll ever know
Now don’t get me wrong
I want to be there for you
But only as a friend
For your feelings will pass away
And all will go back to the same old way
