The Lovesick Maiden's Tears Poem by Morhardt Carmen Mencita Monoi Angel

The Lovesick Maiden's Tears

THE LOVESICK MAIDEN'S TEARS

The lovesick maiden’s tears
Having a cloudy silvery effect of
Glittering shining short lived diamonds
Stroking lovely wet rosy colored cheeks
Feeling heavy emotions and weak

The lovesick maiden’s tears
Filled by yesterday’s memories
Remaining through coming time
They will absorb her day and night
She won’t have the strength to fight

The lovesick maiden’s tears
Her eyes do not see the rising sun
Only her beloved oh dark knight
Who’s belonging isn’t earthly world
But what a cruel handsome sight

The lovesick maiden’s tears
While lying on the smooth grass
Feeling the weight of burning loss
Pulling her into cruelest moods
Knight vanished back into black woods

The lovesick maiden’s tears
Wet the tightening wedding gown
From first sight she knew and felt the fear
That her kind of unbearable dark love
Can only hurt and never be real

The lovesick maiden’s tears
Having a cloudy silvery effect of
Glittering shining short lived diamonds
Stroking lovely wet rosy colored cheeks
Pain and loss forever is her fate to bear
